This class will give you the knowledge to start that adventure.

PREREQUISITES
Honey bees are living creatures. "Keeping" them is a commitment - you will need to actively care for them, including applying pest treatments, feeding them, helping them survive when they become weak and guiding their growth when they are strong (and much more).
For this reason, in advance of signing up for the class, all prospective students are required to watch our 45 minute video "Is Beekeeping Right for You". CLICK TO VIEW
LOGISTICS
- TWO SATURDAYS: February 28 & March 7, 2026 plus 1 Field Session (TBD)
- TIME: 8:30AM - 4:30PM (with 45 minute bring-your-own lunch break)

- LEARN: Entry level beekeeping (enough to start your learning adventure)
- TEACHERS: Experienced Beekeepers, including EAS & Cornell Certified Master Beekeepers
- COST: Lifetime Members: $80, Annual Members $115 (MCBA Membership Required)
