- WHO: MCBA members who are new beekeepers (0-3 years experience)
- WHEN: The 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month, April through October
- TIME: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
- WHERE: Up the hill behind the Brookside Nature Center, 1400 Glenallan Avenue, Wheaton, Maryland
- MUST: Pre-Register - 10 Slots per session. Registration link is on the MCBA website calendar
- COST: Free to members
Continuing Education in the MCBA Bee Yard
Sessions include:
- monitoring and treating for mites
- splitting hives
- hive inspections
- feeding
NOTE: Bringing drinking water for hydration is strongly recommended.
