In Larry's words:
- Every beekeeper should try to make their own beekeeping operation self sustainable.
- Buying new bees is not the answer to successful beekeeping.
- The more you learn about beekeeping, the better your chances of succeeding.
AUTOBIOGRAPHY:
Larry Truchon is a Certified Master Beekeeper (2016) and heads CCBA's annual Short Course. In 2019, he received the George W. Imirie Award For Excellence in Beekeeping Education from the Maryland State Beekeepers Association.
Mr. Truchon strives to keep his apiary self sustainable by rearing his own queens and overwintering nucleus colonies.
