PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

"Maryland Honey Labeling Requirements Explained"

MCBA's own, Eric Malcolm, will be sharing his expertise on honey label laws. As beekeepers grow in experience and success, many find themselves producing more honey than they can use in a year. If you’re ready to start selling your honey to consumers, it’s important to understand the labeling requirements. This presentation cuts through the often confusing and contradictory information found online and clearly explains what you need to know to meet Maryland’s labeling requirements for selling your honey.

This is a must-attend meeting for anyone interested in selling their honey at the upcoming county fair, since only honey with legal labels can be consigned.
