Each year we anticipate Lorenzo Lorraine Langstroth’s birthday December 25th (and some other, minor holidays) with a party and gift exchange for members and their guests.
Rev. Langstroth, 209 years old this year, will be our special guest at the MCBA holiday party. We have asked him to socialize, answer people’s questions about things like the movable frame and bee space, and also take the lead in the holiday gift swap. Very exciting!

Gift Swap!
If you would like to participate in the gift swap, bring a wrapped item (value of $10 - $15 or thereabouts) to add to the fun. Your guests are also welcome to bring a gift and participate.
Food!
The Club will provide tableware, plates, cups, soft drinks, ham and turkey. Guests are asked to bring one of the following items – enough for 8 to 10 people.

A thru M, please bring a side dish or a salad
N thru S bring a dessert
T thru Z bring appetizers
Drink!
This is a BYOB event. Many meads and wines are sampled and shared. If you drink, please drink responsibly. Also, please be a good guest and leave no mess.
