How To SIGN UP:
STEP 1:
Send an email message to beekeepers-subscribe@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com
STEP 2:
You will receive an email message back from an address like beekeepers-confirm@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com. The subject of the message will be "Your confirmation is needed to join the beekeepers@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com mailing list" Usually the message will come within a few minutes. In some cases with some email service providers it can take a few hours. Yahoo/Verizon take the longest. Check your Spam / Junk folder because the message often ends up there. If you use gmail, also check categories-forums folder.
STEP 3:
You must send back to the Forum server the Confirmation Code you received in Step 2. Each persons Confirmation Code is different, but looks something like:
To send back your confirmation code do one of the following:
- Reply to the message, without changing the content or the addresses to confirm. You'll know this worked if you receive the "Welcome" message mentioned in Step 4. If you use Microsoft's Outlook/Hotmail or don't receive the "Welcome" message (check spam folder), then you must:
- Compose a new email message addressed to beekeepers-request@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com . In the body of the email, type CONFIRM , then pasting your 40 character code you received in Step 2 then hit send. The body of your email should contain just one line of text, and look something like this:
STEP 4:
You will receive a message from beekeepers-request@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com with the subject "Welcome to the Beekeepers Forum" mailing list. Again, this should arrive within a few minutes, unless your mail service provider has problems. Check your Spam / Junk folder.
STEP 5:
If any of the inbound messages ended up in your Spam / Junk folder, follow THESE (click here) directions to "whitelist" our forum addresses, or add beekeepers@forum.montgomerycountybeekeepers.com to your address book or both. This will help ensure messages from the Forum arrive to your Inbox and don't have to be fished out of your Junk folder.
