Maryland's Apiary Inspector Dog, TUKKA, had extensive leg surgery and is undergoing physical therapy so he can return to serving our beekeeping community. To help defray the medical bills (which are never cheap), Montgomery County Beekeepers' Association has set up a fund where anyone can make an online tax deductible donation to defray Tukka's medical bills. 100% of net donations go to Tukka.
The AFB sniffing dogs trained by Cybil Preston provide an invaluable service to Maryland Beekeepers.
